You Are Cookie Monster

Misunderstood as a primal monster, you're a true hedonist with a huge sweet tooth.

You are usually feeling: Hungry. Cookies are preferred, but you'll eat anything if cookies aren't around.

You are famous for: Your slightly crazy eyes and usual way of speaking

How you life your life: In the moment. "Me want COOKIE!"

I'm impressed...

With Adam's housekeeping skills! I haven't had to do a load of washing, go food shopping, or even hoover while he's been off, in fact, I think the house is possibly cleaner than it ever was while we were both working. He has also sandedand revarnished the kitchen cupboards, and changed all the door knobs, started painting the kitchen tiles, had the massive hedge outside trimmed, got the garage door fixed (well, thats possibly happening today, maybe not - long story!). We have also bought a new kitchen sink, thats not fitted yet, but I'm sure it won't be long! He has also pretty much decided on all our meals, if not cooked them. Last Friday I came home to a full Italian banquet, with tomato and mozzarella bruschetta, lasagne, salad and garlic bread followed by Tiramisu, yum yum! Tonight we have a Thai main course and Strawberry flan for dessert, so not so much of a theme going on there but I'm not complaining!

On top of all the housework, he has found time to search and apply for a couple of jobs!

I love my Husband!

Going to my manager's wedding reception tomorrow. Should be a good evening. Jaimie and Vicki have been together for about 10 years, so we are all very relieved they're finally tying the knot!

Centre Parcs

Haven't really got many photos of centre parcs. It rained pretty much the whole of saturday and sunday, but we enjoyed it anyway. We arrived around lunchtime on friday, which was a lovely day, so just had a cycle round, and went for a swim (I thought the swimming pool was great, especially the rapids!)The picture here is the view from our room, we often got woken up by the ducks and geese outside the door! On the saturday morning we did the Treasure Trail, we didn't win, think we were about 4th ish. Saturday afternoon we went horse riding. Adam rode the biggest horse that they had, because he's the fattest. The funniest part of that was when Adam's horse developped an itch and refused to move until he had scratched himself on a nearby tree, I don't think Adam really knew what to do! On Sunday Morning we did some Archery (thats what my nice bruise is from, it actually doesn't look that impressive in the picture, its even better in real life!) Sunday afternoon we played a game of tennis, and I realised just how rubbish I really am! All of those activities were interspersed with several trips to the pool!

We both really enjoyed the weekend, and liked having some time just to try something different, which we wouldn't normally do. It could get quite expensive with children though, we thought the best option would probably be to never tell them that any of the activities were on offer!

Back to work now, Adam's spending his days looking for a new job, as he finished at Hazell Carr last week. He even did some washing, cleared the garage AND cleaned the windows yesterday, I think I could get used to it!
